Welcome to the baby Hamiltons
Being a parent is amazing, we already had our Sienna and Sebastian but we wanted to expand our little family. None of us could have expected to get twins but it happened.
On Wednesday the 9th of February 2022 at 6.33 am, Lily Rose arrived, weighing 5.8lb and my wife Lucy did amazing with no pain meds at all. Twenty-nine minutes later Rowan Isaac was born at 7.02 am, weighing 5.6lb.
That makes four
Four children? I mean having two boys and two girls is a dream scenario for the kids growing up and I am only just imagining how they will gel together and grow together.
Some people have reacted with a scrunched up face or a “better you than me” reaction, yeah it is slightly scary but we will tackle it as a family. I have been in the IT world for over twenty years and that brought me towards becoming an MSP (Managed Service Provider), I say that gives the step up with skills for problem-solving and this is what I attribute to managing becoming a parent.
If anyone ever doubts themselves in parenthood, we all do it but learning as you go along is the best way. Apart from our new born’s we currently have a 5-year-old named Sienna and a 3-year-old named Sebastian. Amazing kids but they do test our patience.
How do you cope?
Have you ever asked that yourself? Kids can be testy, often counting to ten can help but do you know what really works? Talking to them at their level really calmly can work out and often that reasoning helps de-escalate the situation and gets the little one’s to behave.
What’s next?
Well, no more children for us is a definite, our little family is complete. I often joked to Lucy about the 22 kids and counting tv program, but no never would I dare have that many, hats off to them as I’m not sure how they do it!
We currently are focusing on looking after our family and growing the business, at the end of the day we want to treat our clients as an extended family. We have no interest in drowning clients with jargon. If you’re looking to have a chat with a friendly IT firm call us on 01423 438953
On a personal side, we are looking to move to a bigger house but that will come when the time is right, we are content for now and will focus on making sure all our children are healthy and happy.
