Our decision to rebrand from CHTSI also known as Hamilton Technology Solutions to Hamilton Group was due to our growth on YouTube and also to make it easier to understand our brand.

We admit it, we made a mistake and originally we thought CHTSI would be an easy name and the domain HTS.uk would be easy to give out.

If you like a good chuckle, our domain was often assumed as chsti.uk that is “C-H-S-T-I” and as you can guess the mail would bounce and it would be rather awkward spelling out saying “C-H-T-S-I”.

Quite simple really, CHTSI was Carl Hamilton (our founder) Technology Solutions and Investments. Our name did change before as we dropped the Investments from the official name but we kept the brand for a future return.

We have had a successful amount of growth with this name but decided the time was right to transition.

Yes, unfortunately there is one other reason and it is difficult to go into.

A local business run by a rather naive young man decided to use our business name to associate themselves to our brand, and unfortunately we need to defend that we have no association to them.

Their business has now been liquidated but their attempt at association and potential reputation damage still lingers. We have frequently bumped into local business owners and were often asked if we knew the business owner or even worse are they a part of the company.

We even received a phone call recently as another business received a bad review and there was an attempt to associate our name with them, we were able to explain there was no connection but it is so easy for your reputation to be damaged by someone saying the wrong thing.

Indeed, Hamilton Group has been born out of a need to Market our Services to help others. Cyber Security and Business IT Support is certainly a must and we feel that learning technology shouldn’t be hard.
